Learn more about breast screening at our open evening

Anyone aged 50 to 71, registered with a GP as female and living in Runcorn, are invited to attend an informal drop‑in open evening on Monday 30 March 2026 between 5pm and 7pm, to learn more about breast screening and the services available locally. The open evening will take place at the Breast Care Unit, Halton Hospital, Captain Sir Tom Moore Building (CSTM).

This relaxed and informative session offers an opportunity to understand what is involved in breast screening and to speak directly with members of our clinical team, who will be available to answer any questions.

Attendees will also be offered a guided tour of the Breast Care Unit, including the screening rooms and equipment. The visit will include the chance to view the mobile screening unit, currently located outside Halton Hospital Captain Sir Tom Moore Building.

Light refreshments will be provided, and no booking is required.
